Longhaul Travel  & Cruise Sales Consultant

 

Our client, a leading retail and wholesale travel firm based in South Dublin are seeking qualified and experienced travel industry sales staff.

Reporting to the Sales Supervisor, the Longhaul Travel & Cruise Sales Consultant is responsible for achieving and exceeding sales targets and promoting products and services through the use of our sales systems and to provide the best possible holiday/trip for direct shop and agency customers.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Reach and exceed individual and team sales targets.

·         Exceed customer service excellence in line with company standards.

·         Use personal travelling experiences and product training to provide the best advice to all your clients.

·         Ensure that all quotes/bookings are turned around within the set timeframes.

·         Report on sales activity when required.

·         Provide feedback and ideas, through your team supervisor/leader in terms of the impact and success of marketing.

·         Implementing applicable administration and operational procedures & processes.

·         Ensure that office standards are maintained at all times.

·         Take full responsibility for all administration and action daily.

·         Participate fully in all training/educationals that you are asked to attend.

·         Assist in the training of new or existing employees.

·         Attend and contribute to all team/office meetings.

·         Show initiative and pro-activity by recommending constructive and realistic improvements within all areas of business.

·         In some instances you may be required to open/close office.

·         You may be required to undertake projects or other tasks when required to ensure that the job role is fulfilled.

The Person

·         Must have at least Two years’ experience in Longhaul and Cruise.

·         Proven sales track record.

·         High regards for customer service excellence.

·         Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).

·         Excellent geographical knowledge.

·         Must be well travelled.

·         Excellent team player.
