Sales Consultants

 

Our client, Ireland's award winning Specialist Tour Operator is currently expanding its operations with a focus on the USA, Canada and Worldwide products. In addition they are re-branding their on-line products which will now form part of the Travel Group.

 

Purpose of Role:

We are looking for highly motivated and ambitious individuals to join our Team of experienced Travel Consultants in dealing with both Wholesale Trade as well as direct enquiries.

 

Applicants MUST meet following requirements:

 

Minimium 3 yrs experience in the Longhaul/Worldwide Travel sector.

Knowledge of Amadeus GDS ( alternatively Worldspan or Galileo )

Familiarity of CAT35 filed fares.

Good knowledge of Worldwide destinations including USA, Canada, Caribbean, Indian Ocean, Middle East, Africa and South East Asia.

Knowledge of Cruise products.

 

Responsibilities :

Ideal candidates should be enthusiastic, target driven and show an ability to work on own initiative.

Whilst working in a call centre environment, you will also be required to deal with direct customers.

You will be required to reach monthly sales targets and report to divisional Manager.

You will be required to work flexible hours from time to time which will include working at exhibitions over weekends.
